ENVISION THE FUTURE
I am the 2nd place winner of the Envision the Future Design Contest 2017. The goal was to design an educational tool that would benefit the visually impaired.
Description:
Play with the equation: y=mx+b in real life! Change your m by spinning the line 360 degrees or change your b by sliding the line up or down the x and y axes. This fun math tool helps users understand how a straight line can be manipulated by changing the slope and intercepts of a function.
Components:
The rotational graphing tool is printed in three parts: a coordinate plane, plug, and line. Simply print each piece, slide the bottom base of the line into the open groove, push the plug into the open groove, and then start graphing!

Other Designs I Submitted
Because of the Envision the Future Design Challenge, I got in contact with a professor at FSU that specializes in visual disabilities. We researched how to 3-D print the most efficient braille and make it accessible to everyone. The results was a braille data base with downloadable 3-D model files of dots for each letter in the alphabet. The details can be found here:
